Methamphetamine and Adderall (Dextroamphetamine) are not addictive. Any educated pharmacist or doctor can tell you that.
Cessation is easy and has no detrimental effects on the brain, unlike caffeine or nicotine cessation.
Liking something for its benefit is not addiction. Consider someone who needs crutches because of being in a leg cast. That is no addiction. But that person will fight to get those crutches back from whatever bully steals them (like the government in the case of methamphetamine).
Methamphetamine is no more powerful than Adderall. I was given Adderall (go pills) as a pilot to keep my landing phase safe and sharp after 10-hour transatlantic flights following unusually early awakenings to start the flights not long after midnight.
Primarily both drugs (any amphetamine) do not make anyone high, but rather are very effective neurological pain killers, and are also very effective at prolonging basic everyday stamina and sharpness.
I would not be where I am today, in recovery from very painful and debilitating entrenched depression and anxiety, if it were not for doctors prescribing me monthly amphetamine therapy for over 2 years.
What is addictive is “meth bashing” for those who get off on “publicly caring” and “oh my, oh my” ranting and raving. Addiction to the latest “Fox News Sensation” is a real problem these days.
